I'm finding the forums quite cumbersome to use for developer-to-developer communications, and quite difficult to monitor several open topics at once. I'm subscribed to a dozen or so web-based forums, and about 2-dozen mailing lists and usenet newsgroups and I find the latter
much quicker/easier to use.
Are you interested in setting up a mailing list for
active Zet developers? I'm suggesting that the list could complement, rather than replace, the forums. We'd use it for active discussions on current development issues such as we have now with EMS, BIOS flash drive and 16550 cores. Stuff that is more one-to-one or 'debate' or intricate details that most users wouldn't be interested in?
Any news or siginificant issues would still be posted to the forums.
What's your opinion?
BTW "miscellaneous" has two L's...
